i feel all warm and fuzzy. i'm listening to the lucksmiths, glowing with
the news that someone i know has just become a father to a beautiful
baby girl, revelling in the warm spring air and smelling the freesias,
daffodils and wild flowers i just picked from the garden. despite the
fact that all my plans for the weekend have been ruined by the ansett
collapse it would be hard for things to be much better right now.

i've started stage 1 of plan b of operation get the fuck over that boi (ogtfotb).
the strawberries, ben fletcher and the apparent healing qualities of yum
pop weren't enough to help this little chicken out - so plan a has been
given the flick. now i'm doing crazy things like making neurotic lists
and planning my days down to the minute, putting three loads of washing
on at 2am then colour coding my wardrobe and pushing myself so hard that
i'm warn out by 4pm. so much to do and so little time.

HAZOP IS FINISHED! WOOP WOOP! OMG! we handed it in at 5.02pm last night and our lecturer threatened to take off 10%. then i was up till 2am last night trying to get my lab report done, the rest of which i should finish this morning. then to start on the presentation for tomorrow morning. i certainly am much less stressed with HAZOP out of the way, though. oh, my friend tania and i are going to see some people this week about how shit this lab subject is. tania is on the warpath! so watch out chemical engineering lecturers and h.o.d.! btw if this page goes weird it isn't my fault. geocities is being weird and may be stuffing up the html. i swear i didn't do anything wrong. this problem explains why i haven't posted on here for a while - each time i try to the html appears to go sick.

i found out today that a screenplay i wrote for
scriptwriting 2 last year was made into a film by a media production
class last semester without my permission. i don't remember
signing a release form and i know for a fact they NEVER asked me if
they could use it. i'm really embarrassed because the script was SOOOO
crap. so im going to put in a complaint. had they asked me if they
could use it i would've said no because i wasnt happy with the final
outcome, i wrote most of it the night before it was due for christ's
sake. they had NO right to do that. what the fuck is going on? why do
people keep stealing my stuff?? it'd make sense if i was actually good
but i'm not! i just don't get it!!!!!

i saw something
for kate last night. they were much better than the last time i
saw them and i think i've worked out why. the best thing about
something for kate was their clarity. with a lyricist like dempsey
it's really important that you can hear everything he's singing. with
the addition of simon on keys and vocals and pip on geetar and vocals
(and violin last night) it almost crowded their sound. last night was
good though (and there were only a few times when i thought it was a
bit too much.) they ended their set with a bruce springsteen cover
that had eric from crooked fingers on vocals, geetar & sax, the
drummer from cf whose name i dont know on drums, brian playing steph's
bass and then gota cola on extra
percussion. three guitars. it was awesome. oh and for those
interested, i ended up wearing the red dress on saturday night :)

omg! cute angus and robinson bookstore boi is back!
you see, every few months an angus and robinson sale store goes in to the shopping centre i work at. well, last time there was a very cute boi working there. every day i worked i walked past the store and proceeded to drool over him for the remainder of my shift. so anyways, he is back! he walked past me in the bank the other day and smiled! omg! he has the most perfect bright blue eyes! and shoulder length blonde hair. and the best jawline! and is tall and oh so *reow* where have all these cute bois come from lately?! i am so not used to having so many bios to perve on! this rocks!

i saw fantomas on thursday
night. it was the weirdest thing i think i've EVER experienced. the
(only?) good thing about that night was that i ran into bob (aka robyn
aka my twin brother - even though she's a girl. we were weird in year
9, give us a break) & shaun. shaun's had his hair cut - it looks
much better. bob and i have decided that we're going to start a band
and just make up words and scream them into the mic ala mike patton (eg
sdfsdlkfj slksdfkjlk asdfjlkd raaaaaaah). it works for him and surely
it can't be that hard, right? i saw fourth
floor collapse last night too, they were awesome but had to cancel
the live set they were doing for my show today because the singer's
got a nasty case of the flu. they're back in three weeks for music
business adelaide so they're going to do it then. their drummer is
cute. vanessa wants me to go to ben's 21st tonight (he told her to
bring one of her non-psycho friends), i said i'd go because she wont
know anyone else...she was in the paper yesterday, i might scan it and
embarrass her. haha.

what is it with fucking shit bands getting given the support slots for all the awesome acts that come out to australia?!!? think tool and the cosmic psychos. then think coldplay and zed. now, think ash and lash. that is correct. fucking lash have scored the ash support slot. there are not many bands that i dislike more than lash. i assure you that i will be up the front during lash (in order to obtain a position where i can view timmy wheeler from ash from his most flattering angle) abusing the crap out of them. i hate them! stupid, idiodic record company crap decision maker people!! plus the ticket prices will be through the roof too, i am guessing
