| We all dispise the peodphile and his evil deeds. We've told you Judy's story on the previous pages. Now we want to work together to change the way the justice system deals with sexual predators. We are all responsible to see that children are protected, and to protect them we MUST CHANGE the laws the pedophile is currently being judged and sentenced under! We have to put a stop to them being let out of prison because of overcrowding, because of good behavior, or because they have completed a treatment program. The justice system has to be made aware of the fact the peodophile cannot and will not change. They do what they do because they like it, they do not want to change. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| What do we do now? We understand that there needs to be change. Even the politicians understand we, as a country of intelligent people, have limited options and limited resouces. The Constitution gives the pedophile rights under the law. We are not able to "put them on an Island". We have to change the way they are being judged and realize we cannot TREAT them. There isn't a cure, but there needs to be a uniform way to deal with them that keeps them away from our children. It is going to take ALL of us to unite under a common bond. It is going to take ALL of us to work toward changing the laws and demand of our leaders the changes we need. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Judy has said she is just one person, I am just one person and YOU are just one person. Each of us alone cannot change what needs to be changed. UNITED we have a chance of doing what needs to be done. We must be willing to UNITE and we must be willing to take a stand TOGETHER. We need the justice system to see that we are willing to back up our words with action. | This letter is to inform you that I feel the way the justice system judges, sentences and then releases child molesters back into a society filled with children has got to change! The system WE THE PEOPLE created was formed to protect the innocent. Somehow the rights built into the laws to protect us have been reversed to protect the predator! The issue of child sexual abuse needs to be brought to the foreground in all the upcoming elections. WE THE PEOPLE need your help in changing the laws to reflect the changes in our society and the needs of the children. We hope we can count on your support of ALL the changes meant to keep molesters away from our children. We want to be informed on the internet and in any other way possible of the release of a pedophile into our neighborhoods. We want the predators to be kept behind bars for the entire sentence imposed, early release due to overcrowding or good behavior should be reserved for those who committed only non-violent offenses. We want the sentence to fit the crime, if the child will suffer for the rest of it's life, so too should the pedophile.
