This would
be a change for me to show off the REAL men that I know. Maryland Ren
Faire has begun. I have attended and or worked at the Faire since 1984.
Folks have come and gone and some of these guys I have known for a VERY
long time. I consider them friends, or at the least - very good
aquaintances. In either case they are just nice guys. I figured that
they'd love the fact that folks might be perving over them. Cause they
really are cute. IMHO anyway. Gerry who?
There will be LOTS more coming!!!!!!!

I have know Keith since he was 19. He's not anymore. Far from it. If I
told you how old - you'd never believe me anyway. And he wonders why
lovely young ladies like the one in this siggy just cling.
Nelson is a REAL big Canadian. Like 6'4" or something. Huge. He's one
heck of a musician and is an all round nice guy. He is the
frontman and bodhran player, guitar player, comedian and cabana boy for
"The
Rogues".
You really have to respect a guy who can blow, finger and
squeeze at
the same time. EJ is a world champion piper and one hell of hugger -
that plus he's just adorable. He has this tendency to stand on tables
when he plays.........note to self.........must bring camera to Faire
next weekend. (and sit at his table)
Another "Rogue".
Chris. Another REALLY big guy. He's a sweetie and has a
completely smart-arsed sense of humor. That plus he handles a sword
with aplomb. No...... you dirty-minded people - a real sword. Not
obvious here but he really does have the biggest blue eyes.
Have know this leather-clad hunk since college. Leather? Body?
Oh yeah. He's had both since college. Don't ask how I know this.
Will. AKA - Tigger. He has been working at Faire probably as long as I
have. He is such a sweetheart. Got the nickname in the navy. I
know the story and am not repeating it. Sold me a teeny-tiny badge the
other day that says "If you can read
this then your nose is in my bodice. When are we getting married?"
Randy. Yet another "Rogue" - and a very sweet one at
that. Sorry ladies - this one is decidedly married. But ain't he cute?
He plays the drum with two woodies instead of one like Nelson. I know.
Bad joke. My bad. Seriously though, hand this guy any instrument and I
think he can play it.
Tee. Yeah - he's taken too. But he positively makes my eyes hurt he's
so damn good-looking! He is a first class swordsman, outstanding actor,
published author and a sweetheart. Somewhere I have a piccy of him
staring at my...er..um...assets at the Ontario Faire. He'll probably
kill me if finds out I've got his pictures up here - but he really is
an unbelievably talented guy. I was there for all of the
characters he created at MDRF and I have to say I loved Captain Rafe
Rafton! Wanna talk about your Errol Flynn? Apparently other folks
did too and finally the character was immortalized in a
fantasy/historical fiction novel. Check out his site!
Okay I know I said the site was going to be men - but a friend took
pictures of my daughter dancing for the Rogues last year and I had to
do something with them. Her shoes came untied EVERY time she danced on
the Jury Rig stage (despited several strong knots) and she just kept
right on dancing. That's Nelson standing behind her. This year she is
bringing her hard shoes with her and dancing at the final ceilidh at
the Green Dragon Inn. I am attempting some decent pictures.
