I would like to dedicate this page to my brother David...he was a very special person in my life he is the one who got me involved in racing and I thank him for that because it gives me something to carry on in his memory...In April of 1996 he left us to soon after fighting cancer for 18 months but not without fighting it with all he had which was alot...He was diagonised with Non Hodgekins Lymphoma in 1994 and for 18 months he kept his head up high and always had a very positive outlook on what was given to him to fight and for what reason no body will ever know...
David was a big Dale Earnhardt fan and so I thought well if there is nothing I can do to help him fight this terrible illness I will try my hardest to make him smile and feel good if only for a few minutes...So with alot of phone calling and contack work to make somthing happen for David that I knew would help more than medicine and that was for David to receive a phone call from Dale Earnhardt himself..David's idol the Man In Black...so one day that phone call came and well it put the biggest and proundest smile on David's face it was priceless...they talked and at the end of the phone conversation Dale had said he wished David all the best and hoped everything worked out well and David's Positive reply was....it is like the race Dale...**IT'S NOT OVER UNTIL IT'S OVER**...Dale had also sent David a hat that was signed by him and Richard Childress had sent a picture of the team that he had signed...Well David was pretty proud of those two items....
David was only 32 when he passed away but not without leaving us all with a whole new outlook on alot of things...and I know that he is watching us everday of our lives and someday we will all meet again....
David we all love and miss you a great deal...you are forever in our thoughts....

Not long ago those were the words spoken by David in conversation with his favorite NASCAR driver Dale Earhnhardt..No truer words were spoken when we look back on David's fight for life....
When at times it seemed the fight was over, David would bounce back and declare he would try a new treatment in hope that it would further extend his life until a cure could hopefully be found...
David was inspired by the love of his family as a whole but his great light was his wife Nadine and his daughter Hillary or as he so fondly called her Hilly...
David was also very appreciative of the support and comfort that came from his friends and colleagues, and it was as if a light would come on when he wsa contached by them...
And so often he watched the race drivers perserve to get to the front of the pack, so also did he preserve to win his fight with cancer...For reasons, we as humans cannot understand he lost that fight but not before having given it his all.....
Approximately 2000 years ago at this time God called his son to be taken home to him...and on April 6th,196 he aalso called the son of Elaine and Donnie to be take n home...
His suffering and pain now over we must remember David's legacy to us, he has shown us strength,courage and even stubborness and with these in mind we must leave here today as he would want us remembering him in our hearts but believeing that we must get on with life, enjoying each day and putting everything we can into it...
Hi last words were he was going to a big beach that was peaceful, weather it was the drugs or he knew something we did'nt may we when it is our time leave this earth meet him again on that beautiful beach....

This is my brother being the crazy silly guy that he was....and this was his state of mind pretty much all of the time being a clown and loving life and enjoying it to it's fullest....
He is and always will be the Wind Beneath My Wings....I only hope that he knows he is my hero.....
