| Hurricane Juan hit Halifax Nova Scotia in Sept 03 never in my life have I ever experienced such devastation. Even though some people had to go without power etc for over a week we as Maritimes came together to help out however we could, personally we were fortunate enough to have a generator to keep things going, and we shared this with our neighbours and we would all get together to cook food on barbecues and it is amazing how sometimes a devastating situation will bring the best out in all. And I can honestly say that I for one......... AM PROUD TO BE A MARITIMER |
