| RACERXILL.COM >>>> January 29th, 2004: Travis and the Nitro Circus By Langers Travis Pastrana stopped by the office yesterday (he was on his way to a car race in Michigan) and dropped off his new DVD, Travis and the Nitro Circus. Although I'm busy designing the new Road Racer X rate card, the DVD sitting on my desk was just too much of a temptation, and I had to check it out. I only got about fifteen minutes in to this thing and could already tell that this is the most insane movie ever! You know all that crazy stuff that you hear about Travis and his buddies doing? Well, most of it is absolutely true, and they seem to have caught all of it on tape. Travis's crazy cousin "Cam" tries to backflip on what looks like a modified riding lawnmower. Travis shoots his buddies with paintball guns as they try to bust out backflips on minibikes (resulting in some major bruises and welts). Then there's some insane footage of one of Travis's other buddies jumping off of a moving car - moving, as in 55 mph - from a bridge into a lake some 50 feet below. It looks like the guy actually hits a concrete pylon, but then it cuts to the next clip. Basically, Travis seems to spend all day, every day playing with expensive toys and trying to come up with different ways to destroy them! Anyway, you must get this DVD. It's great viewing and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I have to get back to work so I can watch the rest of this thing! Travis and the Nitro Circus is distributed by Godfrey Films, and shold be available wherever moto-videos are sold. |
