| Welcome to Racerhead…. Are you wondering what Pastrana is up to there days? Here’s a note from the man himself: “I actually just finished a driving school in Vermont with Kenny Bartram. The top two drivers in the current point standings of national rally (David Higgins and Tim Oneal) were there to coach us. We started with some old-school cars but the Mitsubishi factory team showed up on day two and, for the first time ever, we were let loose on an actual course with a co-driver and an unfamiliar, gnarly mountain road through the narrow tree lined roads. Kenny was a little tentative but smooth. David drove with me for two days of coaching and I was extremely happy with how I performed. I think everyone who watched was pleased as well and next year I should be able to drive the entire U.S. Rally Series. Also, I will be driving the Porsche Cup, which takes place the same day and on the same track as the F 1 this year in Indianapolis. Next week I drive NASCARs with Joe Nemacheck and Jeff Gordon in North Carolina. Things are definitely looking up in the car department….” |
