Travis was on the podium again with a bronze at his second ever Pro Rally Race. The Rim of the World race took place out in Palmdale. It was a two day, 10-stage race covering 395 total miles. Travis is in the N class, this is one level below the unlimited. Basically, this means he's driving a stock car (Subaru), the unlimited class is just that?.beef the HP and whatever else you'd like to make it rip.
It was a great race to watch, they added a special feature for this event. Normally you go out in the bush and wait for the cars to scream by one by one (one minute intervals). For this race, a few stages were in the grandstand area and featured head-to-head racing through the infield before the cars took off for the hills. It was fun to watch them roost through the infield side by side (you never get this in Rally). Travis never lost a head-to-head battle all weekend. a true racer.
Pastrana finished 4th overall. 1st place overall went to an unlimited guy followed by the N class racers. Sorry for the lack of names.
