I enjoyed the past weekend here
in the Poconos as it finally has turned into Spring!
Im so grateful to be living in the woods here
and being able to enjoy nature anytime I want.
I don't ever want to take that luxery for granted.
The older I get the more I see how the woods are
changing.
This weekend I am going back to Lancaster because I
want to purchase some lighting down there.
I hope I can find the right Lt. Moses Williad Chandelier
the one I am interested in is pictured below.
I love the primitive look of it and think it will go
go nicely with my new dinning room table I just got.

More than 200 years ago, Lt. Moses Willard gave up
the life of a soldier and took up the tools of a master tinsmith.
Every hand-turned piece of wood, every decorative snip of tin and
every careful stroke of paint reflected the skill and
resourcefulness of this gentle, gifted man.
Willard's vision of natural simplicity and handcrafted excellence
is characterised in his chandeliers. Many of the chandeliers, lamps and
accessories you'll find in some of the stores in Lancaster
are made in the same fashion as they were 200 years ago.
I love the primitive looks of them all, and will certainly
have my work cut out for me to pick the one I finally get!
Decisions, decisions! :-)
I hope everyone is enjoying their week now! I am!
I'm off to blog hop and see what everyone has been up to. Suzy

"Happy Easter" everybody! I hope
you all have a nice Easter with your families tomorrow. I enjoyed
making my basket for Leslie as I do every year
no matter how old she gets...and of course its
in a Longaberger Basket since I collect them!
Speaking of baskets, like I don't have too many
already, I got the little "Boardwalk" one and its too
cute!!! Speaking of collecting, I am just sick at the
thoughts that "Rowe Pottery" may possibly be closing
soon because of some financial troubles...I have been
collecting that pottery for years and I was heart broken
when I heard it might have to close...
Tomorrow my sister Kathy is joining us for Easter dinner
so I am looking forward to that.
Hope you all get little suprises in your baskets tomorrow!
I got a new hat to help support the new Nascar season
this year...though Ward Burton is still one of my favs
I have also taken an interest in Kurt Busch since last year.
He reminds me of a hungry Davey Allison and Davey was my
all time favorite driver. So here I am wearing my new hat!

Wow, where had March gone? This month
certainly went fast! I am real happy though that April is
tomorrow already as I have spring fever real bad!
Had closing on our other house two weeks ago... soo
whoooppeee, that is done now! They will be moving in
in June after the children are done with school
and I'm so excited to have children around again
because I don't think I'll ever be a grand mother :-(
as Leslie has informed me many times she does not want
to have children...but hell I'm too "young" to be grammy
just yet anyways! :-)
I went to Lancaster and enjoyed my time there, and especially
enjoyed going to an art gallery there. I always wished I
could paint on canvas but that is not one of my specialties!
Its a rainy day here in the Poconos today and I'm not feeling
that great so I am headed to the docs this afternoon.
I hope everyone is having a good week now. Happy Hump Day!
