Born, Judith Diane Varnadore, the 4th child of John T. and Virginia Varnadore, in Pascagoula Mississippi. She went to sleep on April 4, 2006 at her home in Cleveland, Texas. Judy never gave up fighting her battle, always praying for endurance through Jehovah’s Holy Spirit. Finally, being so tired and needing some rest, she went to sleep and did not wake up again. Judy grew up along the Gulf Coast from Mississippi to Texas. She was always one with a mild temperament and caring spirit. We will all remember her laugh. A few weeks before her death she was able to fulfill her dream of taking a cruise. Judy was a member of the Cleveland Texas Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and with all her heart believed in the hope of a resurrection from the dead to come in the future. Always smiling and trying to encourage those around her, Judy was happy to share her belief in Jehovah God’s promises with all who would listen. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Thomas Wayne Holmes, 3 sons, Gregory Shannon, Timothy Andrew, Benjamin Matthew, and 1 Grand Daughter, Pheonix. Also surviving are her sister Jonnie Varnadore Snow, brother Stephen Collins Varnadore, two Nieces and one Nephew along with their children and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Thomas Leon Varnadore. Judy will be sorely missed. |
