| I have three horses, the oldest are both twenty two year old cobs,Polly and Ozzie and the youngster, Flossie, is a Shire cross, aged eightteen. I only ride Flossie - she has arthritis, but after an active hunting career with her previous owner, Anne Pearse, we still get "YTally-Ho Hounds Away" behaviour. She is pretty bomb proof (if I had to ride down the hard shoulder of the M4, she would be my first choice) but not a boring ride, having rather too many opinions of her own and being inclined to trot downhill at a fair old lick. Luckily, Keith Allen lends me the world famous Iggie ( slight exaggeration) whenever I get the urge to try my hand in the Two Foot Club. BACK |
