On Tuesday, September 11, 2001 our great country was halted by an indescribable act of terror. My heart goes out to the many who lost loved ones.  I am proud of the many people who helped out and even gave their lives to help others involved in this crisis. I as many others am very discouraged and troubled by this terrible tragedy, but we need to realize that God is in control. In these very trying, sad, and troublesome times, we need to put our trust in Him and in Him alone for He alone is able to carry us through each and every struggle of our lives.

In this tough time, I encourage you to get comfort from God’s word, The BIBLE and see how The Lord Jesus Christ is our Savior and friend forever.

Why Did It Happen?

-         Because we help Israel and their hatred toward U.S. government, military, financial system, and our freedom

-         They oppose God’s preservation of Israel

-         We need oil and we ask these countries for oil

-         We persuade them to obey our rules + money

-         We are westernizing or Christianizing them

-         Suicide Death! To get rid of enemies (USA) despite that being strongly against their religion

GOD DID IT?

God did not do it and it was not him trying to punish America for their wickedness it was sin and behind sin is the Devil himself. He is behind this tragedy.  God permitted it as prophecy is being fulfilled. God permits certain things of people’s free-will to choose him or spend eternity in HELL!

WHO IS GOD? God is Eternal, Glorious, Good, Gracious, Infinite, Immutable, Just, Loving, Merciful, Omnipotent, Omnicient, Personal, Planning, Providing, Purposeful, Righteous, Self-sufficient, Sensible, Sovereign, Triune, Truthful, Willing

-         The Ecumenical movement can not save this country or bring peace!; Isaiah 9:6-7

-         God is the permitter but not the author of evil. The author is Satan; Collosians 1:16, Psalm 118, Psalm 122:6

-         Isaiah 14:12-15 (Satan is behind it to take God’s place which is impossible!)

-         Man is made in the image of God – Genesis 1:27

-         Man has a free-will (God gives them a choice to obey or disobey him?)

-         Genesis 3:17,19, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23 (under a curse due to sin)

-         Genesis 6:5 (our minds were evil continually at time of the flood and are today)

-         This tragedy was the result of sin and wickedness of the human race

-         Genesis 12:1-3 (God’s covenant to Abraham) – Taliban’s hatred of Israel where Christ was born (Satan’s revenge)

-         Rome is supported far more than Israel

-         Acts 3:12-18 (Blindness of Israel towards their Messiah)

-         Arab’s hate Israel and know we have involvement with them and they fight them due to that reason

-         Inhumane acts were perpetrated (Revelation 11:15-17, 1 John 5:20)

-         Satan wants to get the world to hate Israel and turn against God

-         God may/is using the USA to protect Israel

-         Sin, Satan, Israel’s unbelief, hatred, oil, Zion’s movement (II Timothy 1:7)

Some Other Scriptures relating to tragedy:

Psalm 46:1-2, Ezra 9:6-7, 2 Chronicles 7:14, Psalm 118, Psalm 89, Psalm 27, Psalm 20:7, Psalm 2, Psalm 9, Psalm 16:10-11, Psalm 18:49-50, Psalm 22, 23, & 24, Psalm 45:1,6,17, Psalm 110  (Many of the Psalms relate to Bible prophecy)

What Should We Do?

Trust in Christ – John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life”

Romans 10:9-10  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. / For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Pray – James 5:16 …The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Hebrews 4:16 “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

I encourage you to get a King James Bible and read these verses relating to the tragedy:

1 Timothy 2:1-15 – Jesus is the answer to ALL troubles

Proverbs 27:1 – Trust Christ TODAY, for there may not be a tomorrow

Luke 13:1-5 – People who perished in a tower collapse (Did they trust Christ?)

Matthew 24:1-8 – Rumors of WAR, many sorrows, it must come to pass

II Peter 3:9-18 – Judgment day will come, New heaven and earth to come

1 Thessalonians 5:3 – Mans’ attempt for peace and safety will FAIL

Romans 6:23, 1:18 – Eternal Hell is for ALL those who reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ

It is easy to be saved, simply pray and believe in your heart: Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and I know that I am deserving of eternal punishment in Hell, but I believe Jesus Christ died for me and took my place and paid the price for my sin. I now put my faith and trust in Jesus and I want to live my life for you.
