DCM

This month’s DCM must be one…if not THE…best DCM Division 35 has held since I’ve attended DCM’s (since junior year). The excitement, participation, and fun I saw in all of the members who attended were amazing! Usually, the division tries really hard to stay quiet for the 10 minute meeting Pooja would hold. This time, it was different. A lot of never been seen members from other schools showed up at the DCM. We had the usually meeting, for about a half an hour, and then we all played the Singled Out game….remember, the one they had with Jenny McCarthy on MTV like years ago. Well, if you don’t remember, it’s the one where one girl and one guy participate. The girl or guy chooses categories they didn’t like out of their ideal man or lady, and the group of 100 participants would have to leave if they had that certain characteristic. The idea of the game is to single out 1 man or woman for the player. Well, we did the same thing, only with less participants. When the girl was up to single out one guy, all of the guys fell head over heels. The guys did not want to leave with their categories because that girl was pretty. There were actually 2 girl games. When it was the one guy trying to single out the girls, the three finalists left we’re all from SV...Marie Barba, Emilie Poblete, and Grace Lin!!! And, the lucky winner was our very own Publicist, Emilie Poblete. The worst part was that her boyfriend was there, and he had to watch her dance with that one guy. Ohh, that must have hurt. Well, this DCM was really fun. Even though it was embarrassing to be up there for the game…it was all worth it. But of course, I know that our DCM will beat their DCM. Remember, we have one scheduled in February, so all of you guys better participate!!!
