| Intro In June 2005, my 2 year old Dell computer's hard drive broke. My father suggested that instead of buying a new computer, I try to build one. I spent a lot of time learning how to build one and shopping for parts. I set a budget, but I always had to raise the limit because things were getting more expensive. The computer cost about $1000, and I'm very happy with it.
