22 June 08: Sunshine Angels 'invaded' Ubin for a mini Amazing Race. From religious temple to historical buildings to educational venues, we got to know more about Pulau Ubin. The race ended with a lunch at one of the seafood stalls. After lunch, we continued our program with round island cycling, and exploring Chek Jawa. After Ubin, a group of us went to Geylang for Durians! I'm sure our Angels enjoyed the day, and it was a good retreat session.
18 August 07: After 2 years of great leadership, Mr Foo and his committee will be disolving soon. The baton of leadership will be passed on, to Mr Anthony Lim. Mr Anthony will be holding his first committee meeting on the 15 September, with the volunteers who were invited to join his team for the next upcoming term. We would like to thank Mr Foo S.T. and team for the pioneering efforts of Sunshine Angels. And we would like to also congratulate Mr Anthony Lim for being our new leader.
18 August 07: Sunshine Angels presented a Getai show for the residents of SWAMI, to rekindle their memories of the Lunar 7th month event. Singing, Dance, Auction and Casino were some of the programs lined-up for the show. The most anticipated program was Joseph & Anthony's cross-dressing show, won the most applauses. The SA excos would like to thank everyone who made the event a successful one. |
