In this scenario the French and Indians are trying to take a settlers town and earthen fort that straddles a river. The alarm was sent to call for reinforcements of British troops  and Colonial Militia with the column being lead by Rogers' Rangers an Indian scouts. Will the reinforcements arrive to save the town? Or will the French reclaim this land for the King?

The idea for the French is to get their 24Lbr cannons close to the fort and blast a hole in the walls for infantry to charge through. The settlers only have a 6lb cannon battery to defend the works, but many of these setlers are crack shots with the longrifle. They can from the safety of the fort walls pick off infantry and cannoneers alike.
British relief column marching past burned out farns are not yet opposed, but an uneasy feeling worries many as they see sings of indians on all sides.
The column is screened by flankers composed of Rangers and Indian scouts for friendly tribes such as Mohawk and Mohican. This is to alert the vulnerable column to any ambushes set along the way. The French player needs to slow or prevent the relief troops from reaching the fort before it is taken and secured.
First serious action takes place in the deep woods as several tribes of Hurons and Wyandottes attack Rogers' Rangers.
Close range firing of muskets and rifles and hand to hand melee finds the Rangers outnumbered and suffering horrendous casualties. They fall back and Weas and Fox fall on the leading columns of Militia. Chaos reigns as the struggle is life & death as British regulars attempt to form firing lines.
The fort is breached by multiple hits from the big guns and French troops swarm into the fort, The boats have been captured by Indian allies and paddled across to the fort as British Highlander reinforcements advance.
The relief column is stopped in its tracks in the wilderness woods while the fort falls to the French. A second relief column almost reaches the fort, but the French allies have prevented their crossing to re-take the fort from the rear. British Highlanders suffer from the French guns now firing from inside the fort.
British colonial forces must retire leaving the town to the French and their savage allies. Fortunately for the remaining settlers thet are protected by the French Regulars while the Indian sack the goods of the town.
