| Swan's Song Of A Katydid is known around here as, "Cricket." She is developing into an athletic and aesthetically pleasing collie with style and elegance to burn. She is a very striking girl who excels in movement and expression. After picking up six points from the puppy classes, Cricket stayed at home during most of her "teen phase" working on obedience skills and agility and then minored out VERY quickly as a young adult. Cricket's first weekend out with her new handlers netted a MAJOR win at the Town and Country Kennel Club on 10/18/03 and a Major Reserve at the Canadian Kennel Club on 10/19/02- soooo close! Four more major reserves quickly followed. Unfortunately, an accident left her with a damaged ear so Cricket will not be returning to the conformation ring. She ends her career with five major reserves and 18 points including one major. We are so very proud of this striking and intelligent girl! Cricket was bred to Ch. Swan's Au N Phoenix Rising in 2006 and produced a wonderful litter of ten puppies. | ||||||
