Kate's Pedigree
Kate went  BOS two times in four outings as a puppy before being retired to the whelping box and agility ring. She is a big, strong girl coming in at 24" and 63 lbs. who excels in movement, angulation, topline and ATTITUDE! As a brood bitch she has proven herself to be "top drawer" as she absorbed much needed head refinement from the selected stud while adding her own best attributes. Kate is currently working towards her CD and agility titles while doing some very rewarding Therapy work on the side. Kate was purchased for the strengths of her pedigree despite her breeder trying several times to discourage the sale. I loved the intelligence, longevity, structure, movement and inate emotional intelligence in the dogs behind her and knew she was titghly linebred on those virtues I feel are most important in the collie breed. I had been in collies for over a decade when I finally found Kate, a brood bitch i felt I could start over again after five other foundation bitches from various lines were found to not be up to my standards for health, structure or temperament. I continue to be amazed with this wonderful girl and although I was not a fan of her breeder's, I am a devoted fan of Kate's and am proud that all but one of our collies traces back to her and all of our BEST collies are linebred on her! Although I spayed her after her one and only litter since I had gotten what I wanted from her genetically, she continues to delight us with her wonderful temperament and is a devoted Therapy Dog currently working in my classroom with some of my students struggling with reading issues and ADHD. What a Delight she is!
