                                    The Gateway of India was built in the year 1911 A.D. during the arrival of the British emperor George Pancham and queen Mary.This wonderful building was built for the welcoming of these guests.The carvings on the gate are wonderfully done.


  Hutatma Chowk(Flora Fountain)

                                      Earlier known as Flora Fountain is now renamed as Hutatma Chowk.In the memory of the martyrs who gave up their lives for the United Maharashtra Movement this place was renamed.It the most busiest place of Mumbai.The names of 105 martyrs are written at this place,anyone interested in knowing these names can simply get them by visiting this place.


Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus


Victoria Terminus

                             Earlier known as Victoria Terminus or Bori Bunder is now renamed as Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (C.S.T) after the great Maratha leader Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.This structure made in Gothic manner is a great piece of architecture.The superb carvings and the idol of Queen Victoria is also a great piece of work.Today C.S.T. is the most important railway station of Mumbai as well as India.


Nariman Point

                             Dadar is the most important part of Mumbai, which is also the junction of Central and Western railway lines.It is the heart of Mumbai city.The newspaper distribution of various companies is carried out at Dadar centrally.The beach at Shivaji Park is also a place worth visiting.It is also popular for the shopping of clothes.Most of the trains departing for all the important cities of India leave from Dadar and C.S.T.The most famous Buddhist temple,Chaityabhumi is also located here.

               The temperature of Mumbai during the summer time varies from 33°C. to 25°C.While in winter the temperature varies from 21°C to 18°C.It rains heavily during the monsoon season,once started raining it longs for 3-4 days,thats why doing a tour in the monsoons is a disappointing experience in Mumbai.
