Animamates page

The Animamates are the servants of Galaxia-sama and Chaos! Some were original senshi of their planets, others betrayed their planets to gain the powers of a Sailor Senshi. In the Manga, the Animamates were in search of Sailor Crystals, the true power of a Sailor Senshi. They have to kill a Sailor Senshi to gain a Sailor Crystal. All the Animamates also wear these powerful gauntlet/braclets which give them their powers as well as in the Anime allow them to extract Star Seeds. Everyone has a Star Seed, it is in effect a person's soul. A Sailor Crystal is a special Star Seed that only a Sailor Senshi has. Also even planets and stars have Star Seeds to help them flurish and grow. The Animamates never work as an entire group, only seperately. Each fulfilling their own selfish or greedy desires (most invovle the need for power!). Their are two divisions of Animamates.. The Metallic Knights (most appeared in the Anime and are NOT true Senshi) and the Animamates (These are real senshi who've betrayed their planets for some reason). The Metallic Knights are Sailor Aluminmum Siren/Mermaid, Sailor Lead Crow/Coronis, Sailor Tin Nyanko/Mau, Sailor Iron Mouse/Chuu, and Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon. The ones who appeared in the Anime will have their own page later for now I'm moving on to the Manga characters (since they're not very detailed). Metallic Knights
Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon- Name Meaning: Heavy Metal Butterfly (for obvious reasons)
History: Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon is a very evil character. She appears to attack Kakyuu, Moon, and ChibiChibi. She stood in the middle of a graveyard, where the Starlights bodies had supposedly been buried. This distressed Kakyuu enough to surge forward, ignoring the strange woman with butterfly wings, surrounded by butterfly. She shows them graves of Kakyuu, chibiChibi, and Moon, which further distracts them. Then while they are distracted, vines appear from the ground and grab all of them. Crucifixes made of wood appear from the ground as the senshi are tied to them. She then releases a powerful fire at the disabled ChibiChibi, Moon, and Kakyuu. Suddenly the Asteriod Senshi and ChibiMoon appear and free the trio. Finally the 4 Asteriod Senshi finish Papillon off with their "Amazoness Jungle Arrow" attack.
Animamates Sailor Mnemosyne and Sailor Lethe- Name Meanings: Mnemosyne was the titan of memory and later the goddess of memory in Greek Mythology. Lethe was a river in the Greek Underworld, which would give the dead the gift of forgetfulness, so they would no longer be tormented by the people of their lives.
History: These two are identical in appearance, but it is unknown the true story behind these two. They appear to have come from sister planets that were both extremely war torn. Because of all the violence on their planets, they gave them willingly to Galaxia, hoping to stop the turmoil. Neither of these two are very evil, infact they're probably the best out of the Animamates and Metallic Knights. They love each other a lot, that much is obvious. They appear when ChibiChibi, Moon, Kakyuu, and the Starlights try to cross the River of Oblivion or the desert river which leads to the Shadow Galactica (where Galaxia-sama is!). Lethe appears as their ferryman to cross the river. Half-way across the river, Lethe attacks the Senshi with her powerful River of Oblivion attack, knocking them into the waters below the boat. Once in the water, Sailor Moon completely forgets who she is, until her memory is finally re-ignited by Mnemosyne's presence. Mnemosyne helps the senshi and eventually Lethe too suplicates. They are eventually destroyed, after telling their story, by Sailor Phi and Chi!
Attacks: "River of Oblivion"- Lethe uses this attack to knock the senshi into the river below. This made the senshi completely forget who they are and Lethe killed Artemis, Luna, and Diana.
"Galactica Mustois Alphatonis"- Lethe raises her metal oar in the air as energy rips through Usagi. (there are many variations of how this attack is said)
Mnemosyne powers- Mnemosyne created a bubble of energy to lift the senshi out of the River of Oblivion and she also had a healing water that when drunk allowed the Senshi to regain their memories.
