I still live in Swarthmore, where I have lived since graduation with the exception extended periods of stay for work and study in Bordeaux and Istanbul, as well as frequent travel.
My brother Bill (1976) works as a safety specialist in aerospace engineering in Huntsville, and my brother Jon (1977) practices medicine as a psychiatrist in San Diego. My cousins Kate (1974) and Susan (1978) also live and work in California. My uncle and aunt, Jack and Barbara Koelle, continue to live in Swarthmore, and my mother resides in Haverford at the Quadrangle, a real emeritus hangout of the local colleges and universities. My father of blessed memory and my cousin Rich (1973) died respectively in 1997 and 2001.
