Frenzied Witch with her dragons at tow , Raised a terrible siege ~ Men on horses under the gallant Knight Fought a pitched battle |

| Not far away , the Knight now free ; Turned the Ruin to Fort Gathering soo his still small army ; Prepared a battle to be fought . |

The war goes on ~ Both sides count the bodies .. Love lost Knight , a burning fury , Turns the feild even gory |
| Far above the sky so high , Angels now anxiously peep , The Knight with sword now says "Dragons to slay and Miles to go before I sleep " |

| Thanks for the overwhelming response that I recieved for " THE KNIGHT AND THE PRINCESS " and that encouraged me to proceed with the " KNIGHT'S RETURN " This is not the end! I tried my best to keep the flow and the tone of this ballad as integrated as possible but stiil as this story goes on I find that there are new chain of events being added. The Knight has to fight and the fate of the Princess and the witch is still un decided ! I would eagerly welcome your comments and and suggestions . - Alt |
