Welcome to the homepage for the first annual Charisma Carpenter Birthday Project!!

WHAT IS THE PROJECT???

Okay.. well first of all, as many of you know, our beloved Ms. Carpenter turns 30 in late July this year. So, many of us fans from the Charisma Discussion List and the fan club have decided to organise a BIRTHDAY PROJECT where fans of the actress send any gifts, cards, letters, etc... they'd like Ms. Carpenter to receive to Myself (Brendan Hill) or to Lyle. We will then package them all in a sturdy cardboard shipping box, lined with bubble wrap, foam and FLO-PAK and it will be shipped off to Charisma in early July.

Before you join, you avid Queen C fans, be sure to be aware of the conditions of this project

• No swearing or profanity on the Birthday project discussion list
  
• Try not to send cards aged "30" on them, as it may patronise Charisma (some actresses don't like their age being discussed)
  
• No sending food, underwear or the like - LOL
  
• Fans in the United States & Canada will be sending their contributions to Lyle Craigie-Manson (nitetroll@home.com) who lives in CANADA
• Fans in Australia, New Zealand and the rest of the world will be sending their contributions to me, Brendan Hill (swatchdog@bigpond.com) who lives in AUSTRALIA.
• Submissions arriving in Australia will then be forwarded, all together to Lyle who will then ship the package to Charisma
• Be aware that to take part you need to send the cards or gifts to US, and since We're residents of Australia & Canada, you need to ensure that you've sent them at least 2-3 weeks prior to the closing date
  
• There is no minimum or maximum requirements on what a person can send. You can send a letter only if you wish, or just a card.
• All items being sent to me MUST be received by 5 July
• All items being sent to LYLE MUST be received by 14 July
• Thus the items will be on their way to Charisma on the 14 JULY 2000, DO NOT MISS THE DEADLINE

  You will be added to the Charisma Carpenter Birthday Project Discussion list. Once you've joined, be sure to send an email to cc-birthday@onelist.com to introduce yourself. It is important that you do this, if you wish to take part in the project. You will then be provided with all the info. you need to take part in it.

  OTHER INFO. ON THE PROJECT

  Besides wishing Charisma a happy birthday, the package will also include documentation for her concerning a possible "official" homepage, that I and several other members are planning to set up, as well as an official online and offline fan club, and mailing list.

  Anyways... that pretty much sums up the project. I hope to see as many of you join as possible. I'm sure Charisma would appreciate it!
