Krishnan Kutty Nair and Ammu Kutty
as Bhasmasura & Mohini in "The Terrible Boon"
I trained with Guru Krishnan Kutty and Smt Ammu Kutty of Nrityashree, a famed dance academy in Mumbai. Here I trained initially in Bharatanatyam and then in Mohiniattam after my Bharatanatyam Arangetram.
Guru Krishnan Kutty needs no introduction to the World of Dance. He has trained under Guru Raghavan Pillai, Kochupillai- panickarasan, Sankaran Namboodiri and Lakshmi Kantham of Tanjore. He obtained spiritual guidance from His Holiness Ravel Saheb Govindan Namboodiri. Guruji has inculcated in me an immortal love for this ancient art.
I had had intensive training with eminent teachers like the Dhananjayans, Prof C V Chandrashekhar and Kalamandalam Radhika.
