CROSSROADS

Sometimes we come to life's crossroads and
View what we think is the end,
But God has a much wider vision and
He knows it's only a bend --
The road will go on and get smoother, and
After we've stopped for a rest,
The path that lies hidden beyond us is
Often the part that is best.
So rest and relax and grow stronger
Let go and let God share your load,
And have faith in a brighter tomorrow
You've just come to a bend in the road.

Welcome to my on-line journal. My husband Roger and I have had some major life changes since the beginning of 2002. In January, 2002, he was diagnosed with bladder cancer and he has passed away on September 10, 2002
Then in February 2002, I had my mammogram and a mass was found on my left breast. What follows is my story so far and what lies ahead. I chose to title this page, My Life with Breast Cancer because my whole life will now revolve around my disease. Getting better is my goal right now. I thought of doing this page as a way of sharing my experiences, right from the start. I also thought this would be a good way to keep my family and friends updated on my progress. I have been told by my little sister, Lynn, a registered nurse, that I will become a walking Medical encyclopdia when I am done.*s* I will share with you all any information that I get on Breast Cancer treatments. If it helps one woman get better, or have an easier time with treatment, then that would be worth it. I hope you will book mark my page and come back once in a while and see how I am doing.

Pink Lady Plaque

When I joined the Pink Ladies three years ago, I just never knew how much it would mean to me. I have proudly displayed their Plaque on my site. I have also made quilt squares for different groups I have been in about Breast Cancer. You see, my sister-in-law, Muriel had Breast Cancer for the last five years. She passed away August 27th, 2003 and was a great an inspiration to me.
