King Adora are Birmingham’s beauty spot. Having caused so much excitement with early demos that they were championed instantly, they disproved “hype” by releasing a scorching debut single - "Bionic"/"The Law" - and playing explosive gigs around the UK - both of which earned them an instant fan club and a thirst for more. They have steadily built a devoted and excited following since then.

The second single “Big Isn’t Beautiful” sold twice as many copies, and like the first, completely out of copies. The video was partly shot in the window of an Ann Summers shop and this song earned King Adora their first day time radio play on Radio 1.

By summer, King Adora had added colour to the year 2000 and look set to add more. They have the look. They have the talk. Most importantly though, they DO have the songs, “Smoulder” is yet more proof of that, and so are the live shows. Word gets around and they were recently seen playing a riot at London's Camden Palace, then to a packed Radio 1 Evening Session second stage at both Reading and Leeds Festivals. Not only do the audiences love them, so do Mansun, who they played a handful of low-key festival warm-up dates with in August. The band have invited them back on the road with themselves and My Vitriol, a 21Cpunx triple bill...
If any of this makes little sense dont blame me. I stole it from the Hall or Nothing site. Sorry I didn't ask. I'm sure they wont mind.
