Jason Quartermaine & Robin Scorpio have been friends for years. Robin has always had a crush on Jason, but he never really noticed because he was in love with Karen Wexler. Knowing that Jason wasn't in love with her, Robin fell in love with Stone Cates, the younger brother of Jagger Cates (who, ironically, married Jason's love, Karen). Unfortunately, Stone eventually succumed to the AIDS virus (Robin did contract HIV from Stone, but lives a pretty normal, healthy life). In 1996, something happened that changed everything for Jason & Robin...Jason's accident. Robin was there for Jason, helping him as best as she could & she didn't expect anything in return like most of the people who visited him. They first built an honest & deep friendship...it eventually turned to love. They were a couple for quite a while & loved each other very much until the arrival of Carly Benson. Jason & Robin's relationship continued on for as long as it could...eventually Carly's interference was too much for them & Robin left town for Paris to go to school. Robin did eventually return to Port Charles after Carly had gone to Ferncliffe. She helped Jason raise Michael while Carly was away. Eventually, Carly was released and the three of them lived together in Robin's cottage. Once again, Carly became too much for Jason & Robin's relationship to take, so Robin planned to leave for Paris once again. Before she left, she informed AJ that Michael was his son & not Jason's, feeling it was the right thing to do. Both Jason & Sonny expressed their feelings of betrayal towards Robin to her as she was about to leave. She has been gone for over a year now, but, IMO, Jason still does have feelings for her, just not as strong as they used to be. |
