Sweet Coton Kennel Philosophy and Guarantees
At Sweet Cotons, our puppies are lovingly raised in our family, and socialized with children and adults. We make an effort to expose them to a variety of sounds and smells, and they are petted and handled daily. Cotons are a companion breed. They need human contact and can become depressed if they are left alone for too long of a time. Therefore, we look for homes where our puppies are ensured of living in a loving home. We will help new owners with training, nutrition or socialization problems that may be encountered in the transition to a new home.
We will do our best to help your puppy become a loving member of your family.
First, we abide by all points of the USACTC Breeder's Code of Ethics. We provide a full refund of the purchase price if the puppy is returned to us for any reason in the first 8 days, minus the deposit. A health guarantee is included with each puppy verifying that it has been checked for eye and hip and knee problems by a veterinarian and vet opthamologist, and has received first immunizations. If the dog develops health problems because of a proven genetic disorder, we will work to solve the problem to the owners' satisfaction, including refund of purchase monies(minus the deposit) with the return of the puppy, or arranging with the owners for whatever medical care is necessary. We will provide this care, but must have the puppy with us at the time of any medical procedures, unless we are satisfied with the care provided by the owners'vet. If at any time the purchaser cannot keep the dog we must have it returned to our kennel for placement in a good home. We want none of our dogs to ever be sold to a puppy mill or taken to a shelter or the pound.
