Demeter's Song

I am the wealthy one,
I am the wealthy one,
All that I have I give to you
Blossom and bud
The leaf and the promise of fruit to come
The corn and the wheat
The grass and the earth beneath your feet.

I am the wealthy one,
I am the wealthy one,
All that you have I give to you
Rhythm and form,
The lover's smile and the worker's arm
Your blood and your breath
Pleasure and sorrow, birth and death.

I am the wealthy one,
I am the wealthy one,
All that I am I am in you
The change that frees
The heart that cries and the hand that heals
the eye that sees true
Power to destroy and to renew.

I am the wealthy one,
I am the wealthy one,
All that I am I am in you.

I am.
I am from and of The Mother.
I am as I am.
Wilfully harming none, none may question me.

As no free-growing tree serves another or requires
to be served,
As no lion or lamb or mouse is bound or binds,
No plant or blade of grass nor ocean fish,
So I am not here to serve or be served.

I am Child of every Mother,
Mother of each daughter,
Sister of every woman,
And lover of whom I choose or chooses me.

Together or alone we dance Her Dance,
We do the work of The Mother,
She we have called Goddess for human comprehension,
She, the Source, never-to-be-grasped Mystery...

Thus is She
And being of Her
Thus am I.
Powered by Her,
As she give, I may give,
Even of my blood and breath:
But none may require it;
And none may question me.

I am.
I am That I am.

In the beginning there was Isis: Oldest of the Old, She was the Goddess from whom all Becoming Arose. She was the Great Lady, Mistress of the two Lands of Egypt, Mistress of Shelter, Mistress of Heaven, Mistress of the House of Life, Mistress of the Word. She was the Unique. In all Her great and wonderful works She was a wiser magician and more excellent than any other god.

Here I sing
of the Hesperides:

Arethusa,
Erytheia.
And Aegle

hesitating as the light
begins to quiver the shadows
signaling the evening stars.

Red deepens pushing rosy orange
streakes into pink and purple indigo.
The hour opens and widens thinning
into the other place, the Other Side.

The song of the Hesperides rings out
over the opal sea panning the bright white
line that rims the edge of the world, calling
with arms inviting, intoning with eyes that
have seen every sort of death, soothing and
holding those jolted from the forms we know
into the long low light of dusk.

The Charge of the Goddess

I who am the beauty of the green earth and the white
moon among the stars and the mysteries of the waters,
I call upon your soul to arise and come unto me. For I
am the soul of nature that gives life to the universe.
From Me all things proceed and unto Me they must
return. Let My worship be in the heart of that who
rejoices, for behold -- all acts of love and pleasure are
My rituals. Let there be beauty and strength, power and
compassion, honor and humility, mirth and reverence
within you. And you who seek to know Me, know that
your seeking and yearning will avail you not, unless you
know the Mystery: for if that which you seek, you find
not within yourself, you will never find it without. For
behold, I have been with you from the beginning, and I
am that which is attained at the end of desire.

Moon, Moon

She is the egg and the seed of the world... She is darkness as well as light. Her cycles encompass all moods and all phases. She is Queen of the Bright Night and of the Darkness, guide to the lost traveler and pathway to the underworld. She brings creativity and visions; she also brings sleep, darkness and death... She is the home of the souls of the unborn and of the dead waiting for rebirth.

Time

It is true about time, things change and people die, people change and memories die. People come and go as they please and nothings ever the same.
People taunt and people harrass, they bring you down to come in last and in time they expect you to be thier friends.
You are dared stuff that you do not like, but you do it anyways, because your mind thinks its right and you're still teased for doing it.
What does it prove anyway? Why should I care?
And when you're older, it all seems to stop, like time has frozen, and you're happy.
But that's alright I guess, because that's what they say about time, right?

I Die With Pain Stained On My Face

I am a pathetic mortal
I love to love, and I love to wallow in pain
I hold myself to the sky and scream for justice
I want to be free from love, I want to let it go
The force above me hold my chin and pulls me towards him to kiss the cloud of his face
His cold lips of cloud send pain down my spine
I cry in terror, and call the name of my loved one to save me
No one comes to save me, I die a lonely person
I die with pain stained on my face.
