“Michael?” Nikita asked as she opened his office door.

Michael looked up quickly frowning when he realized that he hadn’t even heard Kita come in.

Nikita closed the door, “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing” he answered blankly.

“I see” she said sadly. “You’re shutting me out again Michael and I won’t have it” she practically yelled. “When you decide that you want to talk and trust me then you know where to find me” she declared and she blew out the door in a fury.

Nikita walked straight out of Michael’s office not knowing where she was going but knowing that she had to get out of there and calm down. She ended up in her quarters where she quickly traded her beautiful silkdress and nylons for mission black workout attire.

‘Quite appropriate’ she thought. ‘She was carrying Michael’s child yet he still couldn’t get past not trusting her. It was ironic really, he couldn’t trust HER yet it was HE who had always betrayed her in the past.’

Nikita laughed sardonically to herself, ‘Who was she fooling…she and Michael would never be able to have the family she so wanted…she didn’t even know if Michael would want this child. Heck she didn’t know if he wanted her or not. He couldn’t seem to make up his mind. She should just run with the child but she knew in her heart that she could never do that to Michael. He had lost too much already; including children. In her heart she wanted to give him this child, wanted them to raise it but knew that it could never be this way as long as they were both inside section.’

These were the thoughts running through nikita as she punched her way through the boxing bag setup in the workout gym. She didn’t want to harm her baby so she refused to fight. One kick in the stomach was all it would take she was sure. She was going to ensure that she had this child—even if it was the only piece of Michael that she was ever allowed to have. Tears started streaming down her face but still she did not feel Michael’s familiar presence behind her looking on at her in agony.

‘He had not meant to hurt her. He just needed to be alone for ah hour or so to remember adam. Today was his birthday and it was hitting Michael hard though no one but Kita knew he was sad. He hid it well but somehow she always saw through him…to the pain, the hurt, his real self that he expressed to no one.
He would have to make ammends to his Kita tonight. He had hurt her deeply and he never wanted that. EVER! He couldn’t live without her—whether she believed that right now or not was of no avail she would after tonight. He would find a way for them to be together if it killed both of them. They needed each other like they needed to breathe and tonight they would find each other’ he vowed to himself.

He needed to do something now though to make ammends. He smiled to himself and took out his cell phone as he watched her through the computer in his office now though. He made 2 quick phone calls and then smiled to himself. It was done…hopefully she would accept him back.
