I lay quietly by your side,

praying to Angel's- for time to freeze

I don't wanna fall asleep,

I have to be aware of- your every little sound... your every weeze.

I can't miss it,

that smile that appears- as you beautifully sleep

It's a memory I'll cherish,

within my heart- a moment I'll forever keep.

To lay here and stare,

into your face- it's a gift you give to me

I can't fall asleep,

don't wanna miss out- on this sight I long to see.

The way your lips separate to breathe-

I hear your childish moans

And wrinkle your nose,

as I kiss it so soft- and listen to peaceful groans.

And watch your eyelids,

unconsciously move- as you enter into your dream

Sleep is no option,

for me tonight- your sight is Fantasy's theme.

Don't wanna sleep,

I want to observe- what Heaven has let me see

This priveledged sight,

alseep at my side- so snuggly next to me.
