Little Girl

Take my hand,Little Girl-Show me your world

Give me a day in your circle-where you've twirled and twirled.

Lead me into-your secret hide-away

Show me your kneel-in which you pray.

Let me hear your laughter-that brightens your soul

Share these things-which make you whole.

I'll grab a dress-as you grab your's

And look into-the mirrored doors.

Then we'll laugh and laugh-at our silly hats

And share some tea-for our "pretend mommy"chats.

Show me how you skip-along the sand

Give me your time-give me your hand.

Let me see-your innocent smile

Where everything counts-every seconds worthwhile.

I want to dance-underneath the clouds

I wish to be adored-by all the crowds.

I want my worries-to sleep away

Just like your's-SweetGirl-right after you pray.

I want to feel safe-in a Grown-Up's arms

Safe from strangers-safe from harms.

I want to live-on your Merry-Go-Round

Where laughter of Joy-is the only sound.

Let me hold-your babydoll

All wrapped up-in your pretty pink shawl.

No worries,no cares-a mind of my own

The Grown-Up World-for now,is unknown.
