I lay alone-trapped in a daze

Remembering your touch-your memory stays.

The smell of Ralph Lauren-all over my skin

From losing track-of where or when.

The feel of your arms-wrapped sweetly around

Remembering our clothes-hitting the ground.

Your soft,warm kisses-stained my lips

Your fingerprints left-upon my hips.

You’d stare in my eyes-as my heart would melt

Such sweet sensations-our bodies felt.

The world had vanished-just you and I

We spread our wings-and began to fly.

You held me tight-not wanting to go

As we prayed for time-to pass very slow.

Separate lives-our dreams so high

We knew it was time-to say our goodbye.

No questions Why-and no explanation

Just an overwhelming-sweet sensation.
