They tell me to leave-go out and explore

Get out for a change-walk out the door.

To sit and remember-your beautiful face

Has gone on too long-find a new place.

They tell me its wrong-and not healthy for me

To mourn for a Love-that can no longer be.

But they dont know-they cant feel

That you’re still here-that you’re so real.

You hold my hand-as I sit at your grave

You give me Courage-I need to be brave.

You kiss me Goodnight-before I sleep

And you wipe away tears-when I weap.

And you cheer for me-when I succeed

As I accomplish-the Goals I need.

They dont know-they cant see

They dont believe-you’re still with me.

They tell me to see-it was your time to go...

But you never left...they dont know.
