I came from the Humane Society to live with Mom when I was a kitten.  I was so scared!  But now these kitten hood memories are kind of fuzzy, like I am today.

But I spent a glorious 16 months as an only cat, until Zari came along.  She was just a little pip squeak with her blue nose.  I was so worried that they got a younger and cuter cat to replace me.  Fortunately, Mom knows the meaning of commitment and loyalty.

Mom and I have been together for 6 years now.  I show my love for her by jumping in front of the computer.  I recommend this for every cat who wants to show their love.  The best results come when your Mom or Dad is trying to delete spam.  I once made Mom delete her whole inbox instead!

I spend my days snuggling with Mom.  And eating;  I only eat canned food, and only chicken or beef slices in gravy.  I love gravy.  I often lick all the gravy from the slices and leave them for Dad to scrape out of the bowl.

Dad was not always Dad.  He used to be "that man that Mom spent too much time with."  Until Mom took me to a new place.  It was a strange place, I was not allowed to look out the windows any more.  And I had to live with Dad.  I bit him a lot at first.  I used to bite all men.  Now I bite all men except Dad.

In this strange place, I learned how to table surf.  Table surfing is very easy and lots of fun.  You need a table with a slick surface and a table cloth.  Get a running start.  And then leap onto the table.  Not only will you slide across the whole length of the table, you will also take the table cloth to the floor along with any thing on it.

But in this strange place, every so often, Mom and Dad would stick Zari and me into cat carriers and take us somewhere else.  Always in the middle of the night.  We would spend a few days away from home and then come back, in the middle of the night.  Some thing about inspections, I didn't understand it.

But we moved out of that awful place to a place with lots of windows to look out of.  And lots of cats outdoors.  They always seemed to be mating.  I've never mated myself because I had the Operation.  Eve and Zari had the Operation too.  Eve had hers after she was in heat.  She spent most of her time wiggling on the stairs and yelling at 3 a.m.  Mom and Dad were just fed up!

After we moved to the other place, with three more humans by the way, Babe moved in.  She was the most obnoxious kitten I've ever met.  She chased Zari all over the house.  Mom and Dad would die laughing because Zari's fur weighed more than Babe.  Babe had this little dance, she would get up on her tip toes and jump back and forth with her back arched.  Zari would run away, but I would give her a swat to teach her to behave.

After Babe was entrenched, Mom brought Eve home in a carrier.  Eve was a street cat, and she acted it.  You should have seen her dig through the garbage!  It was disgraceful!  I've never liked Eve.  But for Mom and Dad's sake, I'll tolerate her.  They take her outside sometimes.  I don't like going outside, too big.  I like the indoors.

Now we live in another house.  It has bigger windows than the last house.  And bigger window sills.  I love to lounge in the sun, even though Mom bugs me because I have pink ears and she's afraid that I'll get skin cancer.
