I don't care whether Mommy puts up a picture of me or not. I don't usually show myself to strangers.
Mommy claims that I shed cat hair tumble weeds. It's not my fault! My fur just falls off! Mommy would comb me, but I hate it. I run when I see a comb in anyone's hand.
My story starts when I came to live with Mommy and Mandy. Mandy didn't like me much at first. She always hissed at me. Then she started to warm up to me a little. She would groom me like my original mother did, only she sat on my head while she did it! I didn't mind. I like being groomed. Mandy and I still groom each other sometimes. Grooming each other is particularly good around the face, ears, and neck since you can't reach those places by yourself. At least not with your tongue. But sometimes Mandy is bad and she bites me on the back of the neck! I hate that! I hiss but she seems to think it's funny!
Eve isn't so bad. She chases me sometimes.
One time, I really got her. I was hiding between two laundry baskets,
and when she passed me...
I jumped out! Boy, was she surprised! She
ran away really fast.
I like my Mommy and Daddy, but when they pet me I always want to have a clear exit. Just in case they get too serious about it. Just because I look all soft and cuddly, it doesn't mean that I want to be cuddled.
But my specialty is catching moths. I catch some really big ones. It's really simple. I just hold really still while the moth flutters around me. The moth thinks that I'm a statue and gets closer and closer, until I reach out and grab him. But after I grab him, he stops moving. This makes me sad. Mommy and Daddy claim that they can't fix the moths to make them fly again. I don't believe them though.
