Whippets

We live with four Whippets (two girls and two boys) who make our lives richer. We own/co-own two more girls who live with their great owners: Meshi with Elad Morag in a kibutz and Ulka with The Meltzers in Haifa, in the North.
Here they are:

Sprint was the last to go from his litter and we decided not to expect too much from him! But he surprised us with his intelligence and wonderful temperament. Then he went on surprising us by winning BPIS at his very first show. Moreover, he was never defeated in the breed until our new imports began to arrive. He is still the most intelligent Whippet we know and he still would never lie on the bare floor...
He is a BIS, RBIS winner at club level and he have sired some nice puppies out of two "wives".

Cheetah was the terror of our household as a puppy: nothing could keep her in one place. Very soon, however, she matured into the best behaved girl and the best possible mother. She finnished her championship easily. On her only two outings to hunt with the bedouins and their Salukis she succeeded to amaze everybody. On the first time she jumped into a 5 meters wadi after the hare and emerged from it at full speed on the other side. On the second time she ran 4 kilometers neck to neck with the Saluki alfa dog, leaving all the others far behind. The Bedouins admire her and say she has a wonderful "engine" (her hindquarters). She loves to use it at the Sighthound Club's coursing meetings...
