As mentioned on the index page, I am a full-time engineer, and a quick look at one of the available pictures will tell you where it is I work. My job is what I'd consider rather slack. In fact, it's very slack. I could do nothing all day, and I doubt anyone would be the wiser.
I'd love to get out of engineering entirely and make a career out of music, but that's a difficult prospect, and I'm not confident I have what it takes. Plus, I'm way too shy right now to get up on a stage and start playing live shows. But who knows what the future will bring? If strangers start emailing me with positive comments about my songs published here, that could do wonders for my confidence level. I like to believe that my songs are quite good, but I'm really too close to them to make an objective judgment. One thing I do know is that I am continually getting better with songwriting. "Everything is Good" was the turning point--a song that came out of nowhere and earned me more praise in short order than any song before. As soon as I pressed play on my camcorder to see how the song had sounded, I could feel it. I had created something special. I hope that feeling can continue.
