Get your components
As we are only going to be using magic ‘select components’ will result in “Two small blue gnomes enter carrying a rack, they set it down on the floor and leave, shaking their heads.”  You can then choose whatever you like from the rack.  You have to be exact with the names in the racks and there is an unlimited supply of items, but you cannot get items once you start, so get what you need quick.  The components rack contains

If both teams are ready within the 5 minutes you can ring the bell if not just wait and the game will begin automagically.  You will see the following message;

Forget the undies…KILL!!!!!!
Once in the arena, everyone is vulnerable to attack. PK/NPK rules and restrictions no longer apply. If you should die, you will appear back in your team room and are paralysed for approximately one minute. You keep the inventory you had once you died, but lose all magic shields that were around you, and have full health and GP again.

So who won??
On completion of the match all players will be moved out of the arena to the church with Father Pax and the Arena will announce the scores i.e.

NW and W will take you back to the start point with the gong and boulder.  SE and Out and you will leave the Monastery
