The Quiet Darkness

My friend, Peter Van Den Eng, likes to make compilation CDs with themes relating to Legion of Super-Heroes story arcs. Early on, I conspired to make a CD to fit into this series, and eventually settled on "The Quiet Darkness" as a compilation of dark ambient works. It took forever to put together, but eventually I got it done. Soon afterwards, I found myself making copies for other people, who were not as appreciative of the Legion as Pete or myself, so I came up with alternate cover art.

In keeping with Pete's Legion CD tradition, the back cover is a vastly magnified bit of the front cover artwork, a practice that I still use sometimes.

The alternate "mainstream" version of the cover art. The playlist is from Michael Griffin's copy, which is slightly different from the definitive mix.
