Colorado
In December of 1999, on winter break from school, some fraternity brothers and I went to Telluride, Colorado, where, among other things, I learned
to ski. This series of
pics is from that trip.
From a roadside stop on the way into Telluride, I discovered this snow-covered stone.
While hiking one day, I discovered a huge pile of man-made snow, used to groom the ski slopes. This snow has some kind of chemical (chlorine?) that gives the snow a slightly greenish cast in the shadows. I thought it was cool enough to photograph. (note the green Ohio in the center)
