The Curse of Existence

The time has come to take what is deserved,
And what will we all get?
Considered the world in which we live and the way the mind is set,
We all deserve nothing, but this much is what I bet.
We consider the world owes us one because that is the way men are,
But death is what we need, what would be better so much by far.
When we look back and see all the things that we have done,
We all will realize that none of us has won.
Because life is a big race to see what we can get,
Our lives pass by us,
No true goals really met.
We live life for ourselves, not caring about the other,
When we should help the distressed and treat them like a brother.
We shove down those we should help up,
And overturn the beggars cup.
We use our perverted minds to create what deserves shame,
We all cheat others and we deserve the same.
Death is the finality that we all must endure,
Death is the only thing that is definite and sure.
Live should be like a symphony,
Each doing his own part,
To play the music that makes life a beautiful art.
We must work together to change the world and make it a better place,
Because it is something our children will someday face.
