Who are we?
In our area of the southwestern suburbs, we have over 400 Tri Deltas living here.  While our chapter's geographic area includes the towns of Brookfield, Burr Ridge, Clarendon Hills, Countryside, Darien, Downers Grove, Hinsdale, Indian Head Park, La Grange, La Grange Park, Oak Brook, Westchester, Western Springs, Westmont, Willow Springs, Willowbrook and Woodridge,  we are always please to have any Tri Delta join us.

Our alumnae chapter, founded in May 1928,  is about 75 strong of all ages.  Many of our members joined as young mothers and are now grandmothers!!  These ladies have been friends through a lot of life's milestones and are going strong.  It has been said that Tri Delta keeps you young; these ladies are testament to that statement!
Monthly Meetings:
We meet about once per month, usually at a members' home.  Our two most popular meetings are Founders' Day, a dinner held at La Grange Country Club and Pansy Brunch, held at a members' home.  We keep our business meetings short so we can spend more time socializing.  Check out
this year's calendar and join us for an upcoming event.  We have a wide variety of events so we have something for everyone.
Getting Involved:
We also recognize that many of us are busy with jobs, children, school activities, sports or our own activities.  For that reason, we keep the time commitment to the chapter low.  However, we do have a "share the work, share the fun".  So that everyone has fun and no one person becomes burdened with the organizational tasks for the chapter, we do ask that each member contributes in some way.  If everyone does a little bit, it is more fun for everyone.  We have lots of small jobs, such as serving on a meeting committee.  Those Deltas who want to be more involved can serve as an officer.

Many members come to most of the meetings and enjoy a night out with the Deltas, but some members can only attend one meeting a year.  We completely understand and look forward to seeing you at any event.  It is your choice.  We aren't in college anymore where the collegiate chapter required a lot of time commitment.  Alumnae chapters are much more relaxed and just plain fun!
Fundraising and Philanthropy:
Throughout the year, we have various philanthropic service projects and two primary fundraisers.  The first fundraiser is our holiday Poinsettia sale.  Orders are taken from November 1 to Founders' Day.  Orders are picked up at a member's home on the first Wednesday after Thanksgiving.  In the spring, we have a spring flower sale.  Our supplier is
Shady Hill Gardens in Batavia and they are known for their high quality plants, especially the geraniums.  Orders are taken in April and buyers pick up the flowers on the Wednesday before Mothers' Day.
Proceeds from the flower sale go to the
Ronald McDonald House near Loyola and the Cleft Lip and Palate Institute at Northwestern University.
Philanthropic Service Projects:
The chapter also has ongoing service projects, depending on the interest and time demands of the membership.  These service projects include bringing pantry items for the Ronald McDonald house, usually collected at Founders' Day.  We are considering attending a play at the Western Springs Theatre.  Our attendance would raise money for the cause and be a fun night out for our members and their friends.
Annual Chapter Dues:
Our chapter dues, payavle to Chicago SW  Suburban AC are only $34 per year.  The breakdown is as follows:
