Early in December, around Christmas day God sent a present, he came my way A tiny little puppy was looking to be found He nestled under a tree, staying close to the ground Crying for his Mama, he was just plain lost I couldn't stand him whinning, or how much he'd cost I brought him in to the house, he joined the happy three He had to be introduced to Cowboy, Buffy and me |

Nobody came to claim him, so that made him mine He continued to stay with me all of the time I considered him a gift from God near Christmas Day I wondered why He sent this dog, but I could only pray That seems so long ago, he came from nowhere Cowboy gave him a name, simply Bear He was so attentive, as he'd nod his head While Buffy slept near Cowboy, Bear stay with me instead |

Now Bear he's a learning I must admit he's fast The love we share between us sure will last Now he's 7 mos. and weighing 63 pounds He sure is curious, cause he makes his rounds Yesterday we had to take him to the Vet He was being fixed, the sorriest day he met When I went to get him, his eyes looked very sad Well, Bear will get over it and I'll be glad |
