| One of my favorite musicals was "Paint Your Wagon" It starred Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood, that was ok by me Watching that movie so many times in the past Those two men were so handsome, can't ya see The song "Paint Your Wagon" and the words they tell I could very much relate I had a lot of traveling to do I never wanted to be late I wasn't searching for gold, career nor fame I never saw a sight that didn't look better than looking back I didn't have much money, but could save a dime With everything I did I never did slack I was born under a wanderin' star Just like Lee Marvin in many a way Guess that all made up For the way I am today |
