Hubba

A gourd found in the desert oases of Tatooine, it provides the primary basis for the diets of Sand People and Jawas. These round, yellow fruits grew in the shadows of cliffs, and their tough, stringy inner fibers held a great deal of water. The water could be wrung or sucked from them, providing fluids to the eater. The name "hubba" is a Jawa term which meant "the staff of life."
