What does Straight Edge mean to you?
Straight Edge is a way to live your life,with an unclouded mind and healthy body, so that your eyes are open to the reality of the world, and able to act upon what you see for the better.
How did you get into it?
A friend of mine told me about it when he saw me drawing X's on my hands, but I wasn't then,or for a while. I got more into punk and hardcore, had a few really bad experiences on drugs,decided I didn't like the way I was living my life, so I decided to cut out everything and live a better life.
What's the sXe scene like in your area?
There are loads of bands and shows and people here in London,so there's always something happening.That's why I wanna stay here for the rest of my life.There are some nice people here,some great bands,but then you always get asses.Same as anywhere really.It's good that there's so much happening though,cos you can always find something good.
What are some of your hobbies?
Music is my biggest passion really,although veganism and animal rights is fairly high up there too.I like to get involved in direct action and all of that fun stuff when I can.On a less serious note I like to go rock climbing,urban exploring,walking,cycling,and I enjoy a good film or comic.
Music tastes?
Mainly hardcore and punk,but I don't mind the odd bit of metal,softer rock,the odd bit of jazz and classical, but pop can die.

Best ever show?
That is too hard, there are so many great bands that I've seen.I can't choose one single favourite.
I think Straight Edge should be a commitment that you make for life,and if you're not planning on sticking to it,if you think there might be doubt,then don't claim it in the first place.It's not something to turn on and off when you want,it's for life. It's a shame when people lose the Edge,but that's their choice I suppose,and it happens to so many people,it's not worth getting worked up about.
First record you ever brought?
The first record I ever got was the Lion King soundtrack.It rocks! I've still got it. I can't remember what the first guitar record I got was, but something not very good I don't think.My music tastes have improved alot.
