i was brought up in the sutherland shire, indulging myself in the well-fed culture of sports and sports. luckily my sisters were both expressive - my eldest a ballerina and the other a singer/dancer. so i was brought up in the atmosphere of art and expression and was soon putting on shows of my own after dinner.
when i was eight i accidentally got cast in a television commercial while waiting for my sister to come out of a rehearsal and then began my young acting career. at sixteen i was burnt on the set of a television drama when a coffee urn fell on my head and so was convinced the gods were telling me something. i thus took off to charles sturt university bathurst to complete a ba communications (theatre/media) degree hoping to move more into journalism, radio and production, but then of course found myself back on stage, writing shows, directing shorts, and generally acting. after university i began working in film, tv and theatre again and soon after, writing for all mediums.
i have a dog called miller and enjoy cooking. i
like loud music and that feeling you get when the fridge stops buzzing."
