Coalition of Historical Trekkers - An excellent organization dedicated to historical trekking for the timeframe (1600 to 1840).  I am a proud member of this organization.
American Longrifle Association - This is an excellent website of a group dedicated to historical reenactment and trekking.  They pride themselves in their emphasis on authenticity.
Armory Hill Living History Association- A truly great site that offers everything from product reviews of period wares, to informational articles and advice for new reenactors.  A "must visit" site, indeed!
Blue Heron Mercantile- Purveyors of period-correct "everything" for the historical reenactor and trekker alike.  From period foods to blankets, trade knives, handforged tow worms and more, they're one of my favorite suppliers.
Dogwood's Trekking Page- Great website of fellow trekker, James "Ganasita" Humphreys.
Granny Lin's Trekking Page- Great website of fellow trekker & CoHT member (OH), Granny Lin.
Horns by Sulinai- Brett Sulinai Hensley, hornmaker. Highly recommended, period-correct powder horns!

Rapine Bullet Manufacturing Company- Ray Rapine makes top quality, period bag molds.  He calls these "primitive" bag molds.  They're steel and include a sprew cutter.  Great product and a one straight shooter of a guy to deal with. 9501 Landis Lane, E. Greenville, PA 18041 (215) 679-5413
Silver Bear's Trekking Page- Great website of fellow trekker, Tony "Wapachsinn Macht" Seo.
Tennessee Valley Muzzleloading (TVM)- Highest recommendations go to this company!  Well worth the wait, my early Virginia rifle far surpassed my expectations.  For just over a grand I got a P++ stock, a swamped Colerain barrel, Siler lock, Davis double set triggers, and sliding wood patchbox.  For the money and quality, there's absolutely none better!  Matt and Toni Avance also happen to be super nice folks to deal with!
William Christian's Allegheny Rangers- Excellent website by fellow CoHT member, Jeff East.  The Allegheny Rangers are a SW VA reenactment group portraying the men who defended the VA frontier between 1764 and 1776

Whirlwind Traders- Chris Bridges handforges 1095 steel in some super authentic- "shweeeet" knives!

Highly Recommended Publications to Which I Subscribe:
Muzzleblasts Magazine- This is the premiere magazine in regards to general muzzleloading, with many blackpowder articles relating to historical reenactment.  Subscription is part of NMLRA membership.
Muzzleloader Magazine- This is the premiere magazine in regards to "period" muzzleloading, blackpowder hunting, and historical trekking.
On The Trail Magazine - This is the premiere magazine in regards to historical trekking.  It is an outstanding source of information, contacts and supplier sources.
Montana-Wyoming Buffalo Company- Bob Fritz won't steer you wrong! Delicious buffalo meat at a price very few can match.  Can't get more period than some buffalo jerk for the trail.  At only $5- per ounce, it's more period, tastes better and is cheaper than beef jerky!
Remember that at the time of the pilgrims, buffalo herds extended into New York state! (Hard to imagine!) Even by 1770, buffalo was growing scarce, but still found in Western PA and VA.
