Founded in 2007 to publish books that may be difficult to publish in traditional markets.  We want to help you get your ideas in print using new technologies and publishing options.
We do not publish your book for you, but offer mentoring services for authors wishing to self-publish.
Therefore our fees are much lower than prices charged by other Book Shepharding companies with pricing options geared to your budget.


Basic Services and Prices
For example one Internet website offers the following special prices due to current      
economic conditions.
$599.00 for 3 hours of phone consulting.  $2200 per month for book shepherding. 
Slay the many-headed dragon of book publishing costs.  These can include
purchasing the correct software, developing technical images or illustrations,
getting an ISBN, procuring cover art, actual publishing fees, and marketing and
distributing costs.
Our prices are much less than half the above  based on our belief that authors can master
the self-publishing process with tools available on the Internet and with the help
of our consulting services.   We can guide them through the process without charging
the high prices that have made book publishing so difficult to afford in the past.  This
makes authoring a book possible for many more people, and with our help, it can be
financially successful, creatively satisfying, and enjoyable in the process.
Additional services are available if needed.

$95 for three hours of phone, internet or personal consulting.

$500 per month of book shepherding.

       Typing and editing are charged by the hour or the job. $10.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on manuscript
Services provided include:
Editing or preparing manuscripts to meet the technical requirements for submission.

Obtaining ISBN number and determining price of book.

Design ideas and help with determining optimal cover art and image preparation.

Help with software requirements and image production in Photoshop or other photo editing programs.

Support to the author throughout the process.  Includes advice as to possible audiences before the book is written and psychological and emotional support after the book is written. Maneuvering through the publishing process can be challenging and quite different from the creative writing process.

Additional Services   
Additional Services are generally contracted for after the book is published and pricing discussed at that time.  However we have extremely competitive rates with public relations firms and web design companies in keeping with our attempt to consider the financial constraints of many authors.  We are basically a consulting service that will help you help yourself in these areas with a sliding fee scale based on the amount of help you need. 

We advise letting us develop a webpage to market your book and taking advantage of our experience to present your book to national distributors and local markets.  We can also set up book talks for you and develop sell sheets and press releases.
